The JEC Paris show goes from strength to strength each year with an increasing number of companies choosing to exhibit and visit the exhibition.

 

Composites UK, UKTI and The National Composites Centre (NCC) are working together to coordinate a greater UK presence at the 2012 JEC exhibition. The aim of this is to raise the profile of the UK composites industry and demonstrate to the international market that we are ‘open for business’. The mechanism for achieving this will be to cluster UK companies keen to be part of the larger UK area around the Composites UK stand. An area of 200m2 has provisionally been reserved for this purpose (Composites UK will take 50-60m2 area in the middle) under the Union Jack flag in the D17 location – this was the position of the Composites UK stand at the 2011 show and proved a good spot being on a main aisle near the forum area, a café and enroute to toilets! The size of this area can be expanded/reduced as required.

 

There are several possible routes to develop this area, but in the first instance we want to gauge interest from UK companies in taking a stand in the UK area. Costs will be the same as taking an individual stand elsewhere within the main hall, individual company branding will remain an option and each company, once location agreed, will liaise with the JEC organisers to sort out the details of their own stand.
