Altair Engineering, a global provider of technology and services empowering client innovation and decision-making, announced that its biennial UK Altair Technology Conference (ATC) - now in its eleventh year – will take place on May 21st in Gaydon, Warwickshire, and feature speakers from Ferrari, Jaguar Land Rover, Rolls Royce and many more. The agenda features speakers from world leading companies who will discuss current business challenges facing their industry, share their vision for the future of engineering and demonstrate the development of innovation in their companies.
This year’s conference celebrates the theme of the increasing role of simulation in delivering product innovation, demonstrated through a packed agenda of speakers from across the automotive, aerospace, consumer goods, energy and marine industries. Each presenter will showcase how simulation technologies are changing the way their businesses are developing the next generation of innovative products.
This year’s keynote speakers come from James R. Scapa - Founder, Chairman & CEO at Altair, Dr. Gero Kempf - Chief Engineer - Body Strategy at Jaguar Land Rover, David Matthew - Lead Engineer at Leonardo, Andrea Merulla - BIW Designer at Ferrari and Mark Stanton - Co-Founder & CTO at Human Horizons. They will be followed by technical presentations from Jaguar Land Rover, Assystem, Brompton Bicycle, HiETA Technologies, Israel Aerospace Industry, Royal Enfield, Rolls-Royce, NIO, SMD and Vortex Bladeless, who will demonstrate how the latest digital design technologies are improving their design processes and shortening product time to market.
All the speakers at the event will share examples of how they have deployed Altair’s latest cutting-edge software solutions including design for additive manufacturing, multi physics, structural and multi-disciplinary optimisation, engineering in the cloud and more. The conference provides an excellent platform to network and exchange experiences with over 300 designers and engineers from the UK product development community.
