We're looking for speakers for this new event, taking place on 17th September at iMet in Huntingdon.
The use of additive manufacturing – or 3D Printing – is gaining momentum within the composites industry, whether aiding design, prototypes, tooling, mandrels, mass-customisation, direct & in-direct production, jigging and fixtures.
Sectors including aerospace, defence and automotive are implementing this suite of technologies to enable agile development, low volume production and on-demand delivery.
This unique Composites UK event will look at developments in additive manufacturing, and how these translate into production opportunities for composites manufacturers wishing to embrace digital workflows.
Specifically structured for those who need to deploy proven solutions for real-world problems, this event will combine presentations and demonstrations giving new insights into the future of high value composites using 3D Printing.
We are looking for speakers and demonstrations / workshops for this first in series event, with abstracts of no more than 200 words being welcomed via this link by 5pm on 19th July 2019. If selected your place at this event will be free-of-charge.
