Following on from its recent success in gaining automotive quality accreditation ISO TS 16949 and aerospace quality standard AS9100 for ‘manufacture of composite panels, assemblies and metals for the aerospace markets’, ARRK is pleased to announce that it has joined Composites UK.
Alan Smithers, General Manager at ARRK’s Nuneaton composite facility, believes membership is a natural fit for the ARRK organisation to engage with the wider composites community and to play an active role in helping ARRK achieve its growth plans. Alan explains; “ARRK has ambitious plans for the future and developing our composite offering is a key part of our full line service to customers. As is demonstrated by our participation at this year’s JEC Europe show in Paris, our composite service starts from our design engineering expertise, tool design and production, right through to low volume, niche, composite part manufacture. In conjunction with our sister companies in Germany, France and the Far East our composite knowledge, industry expertise and technical knowhow, allows us to provide a wide range of composite solutions to our customers in the UK as well as across mainland Europe and beyond.
"We are impressed by Composites UK level of activity in promoting the industry and seeking out new business opportunities for its members. Taking its message abroad is also a key feature for us, as demonstrated by their own participation at JEC, and this makes us keen to be part of this proactive organisation to help ARRK broaden its horizons and business circles. ARRK has extensive experience in the Automotive and Aerospace sectors and has plans to increase its offering further into Rail, Marine, Leisure and Defence. We look forward to a successful partnership”.
ARRK’s first involvement with Composites UK sees them attending the Composites in the Automotive Industry Sector Showcase, at Warwick University, Coventry on 14th May 2015.
