Broadwater Mouldings are pleased to welcome James Cushing to the newly created position of Sales Manager. James takes on the mantel of sales responsibilities from Vince Mortlock, who moves to a new position as Head of Business Development and Engineering. Vince will continue to move the company into new markets whilst providing the best possible service to the existing client base.
The company specialises in supplying high quality fibre reinforced plastics (FRP) and FRP assemblies for a diverse portfolio of customers in the UK, Europe and worldwide.
Broadwater Mouldings, a subsidiary of the Betts Group of companies, operates from a purpose built production facility in Suffolk. The business has grown through recent years to a turnover of £10.5m, in the process creating new and exciting opportunities for both existing and prospective customers.
The company says James joins an experienced and highly skilled production and design team, who can provide solutions to customers needing medium to large sized gelcoated or painted FRP parts, by hand lay-up, low pressure press moulding or resins transfer moulding (RTM) in volumes ranging from one to several thousand per year. Key market sectors supplied include: Medical, Transportation, Automotive, Industrial and Marine.
Whilst new to the composites industry, James has in recent years gained extensive commercial experience within the moulded plastics business, primarily thermoformed polymers in the foodservice disposables sector. He has extensive understanding of business partnerships and is looking forward to progressing the product and client base of Broadwater Mouldings.
Broadwater Mouldings are also pleased to announce that they will be attending and showcasing at the JEC World Composites Show at Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre, Paris between March 8 and 10th 2016. With more than 100 countries represented, JEC World has become the largest international show of the composite industry. The company joins 13 other UK based companies displaying under the UKTI, Composites UK and National Composites Centre sponsored 'UK Pavilion' in Hall 5A, on stand C65.
