Brookhouse Aerospace are pleased to announce it will be exhibiting that the forthcoming International Composites Summit at the ILEC Conference Centre, London on the 8th and 9th of September 2021.
The ICS is the first exhibition that Brookhouse Aerospace have participated in since the rebranding from Kaman earlier in 2021 and follows the launch of their new website in July as part of the rebranding strategy.
Following the Management Buy Out (MBO) in February 2021 led by Christopher Morris, Group CEO and Matthew Rossiter, Group CFO from the US based Kaman Corporation, the business is in the process of rebranding to represent the next strategic period of growth.
Brookhouse Aerospace is an independent UK business and the rebranding of the business reinforces the break away from Kaman but draws on the long history of the company that began in 1951 as a family company serving the local foundry industry with metallic patterns and tools.
The UK facility has grown its focus from manufacturing composite components, structures and assemblies, to offer a complete manufacturing solution covering a broader range of capabilities. The new business Brookhouse Aerospace can offer a wider range of capabilities which includes metallics, sheet metalwork, fabrication, machining and metal and composite bonding. The facility now has on-site a NADCAP, Airbus and BAE Systems approved treatment facility to support customer needs. Additionally, the business also offers a range of Ground Support Equipment to MRO customer and will continue to invest with new equipment in support of customer requirements.
Andy Holey, Head of Business Development added, “We are really pleased to be part of the ICS event next week and this is an excellent opportunity for us to engage with customers and suppliers following on from the MBO. As this is one of the first industry events post the COVID-19 Lockdown, it allows us to safely meet and talk with visitors, something that has been missed for the past 18 months.
As an Independent UK based business, we are keen to promote our capabilities to the wider audience and our consolidated approach to engineering and manufacturing composite, metallics and treatments from one facility. This strategic decision to offer composites, metallics and treatments from one site is unique within the industry and supports the demands from the market.”
Brookhouse Aerospace’s key markets lie within the Aerospace and Defence sector but is now exploring new markets and customers that include Rail, Renewable Energy and Medical sectors. With the growth and expansion in capabilities, the business will be able to demonstrate to its customers an ability to satisfy their needs from a wider customer base.
