Cecence Expansion Leads to Large Aerospace Production Order

Work at Cecence

Cecence have expanded their workspace and team at their site on the Wiltshire/Hampshire border and are now fully engaged, alongside other projects, in manufacturing a large aerospace production order.  The team are hot compression moulding using snap cure materials, what is understood to be the first all composite Airbus line-fit approved 16g seat-back.

The company has grown significantly since its inception in 2014, with each new member to the team quickly being integrated, and learning the art of making composite components ‘Cecence’ style, utilising the company’s core philosophy ‘RFRA’ Right Fibre Right Application.

They have succeeded in rapidly processing complex structural composite components, and providing FST compliant solutions, and are reinvigorating hi tech manufacturing in the Test Valley and providing local employment opportunities in a fast growing market sector.

Founder and Creative Director Samantha Bunyan said ‘We are hugely proud of the achievements of the team.  Investment in R&D, material engineering, innovative process development, training, and the nurturing and management of a robust supply chain, has enabled Cecence to position themselves at the forefront of FST compliant, rapid process composite components for aerospace, rail and other mass transportation sectors.’
