At the 2015 Surface Design Show, the team at Changing the Face of Composites (CTFOC) will be promoting Aestetica, which the company explains to be a unique composite material providing; visual style to go with strength, lightweight, durability and the finish of composite materials to an almost limitless marketplace.
Whilst a lot of interest in Aestetica is being shown from the traditional composite served industries such as auto and marine, the scope is there to take it further, into the everyday market.
Some of the attendees at the Advanced Engineering Exhibition in November 2014 will have seen the world’s first denim Frisbee; an example of what can be done. For the Surface Design show in February, CTFOC has more items to showcase with Aestetica. The denim toilet seat, (another first) is another example of what the company will be showcasing, along with table tops, frisbee bar stools lights and electrical sockets, and a racing car seat.
The CTFOC team will be on stand 452 at the Surface Design Show, running from 10 – 12 February at London’s Business Design Centre.
