Composites UK will be bringing its regional roadshow series to Northern Ireland on 2nd October.
The event is supported by the National Composites Centre and is kindly being hosted by the Northern Ireland Advanced Composites & Engineering Centre (NIACE) at their site on Airport Road, Belfast.
These events are designed to showcase innovations, opportunities for fibre-reinforced composites and business support available to companies in the area. The Northern Ireland event will be the forth one of the year with previous 2018 roadshows covering London and the South East, the South West and the East Midlands.
Bombardier Aerospace will be leading the event with a presentation on how the composites supply chain can rise to meet challenges in areas which it has identified could be developed. Amongst others, local company CCP Gransden will showcase how it has harnessed support for innovation and growth as an SME, and CUBIS Industries will share its work in the construction sector.
The event will be underpinned by business support presentations from the National Composites Centre discussing its SME programme, growth opportunities from Invest Northern Ireland and R&D tax credit opportunities from GovGrant.
Limited table-top exhibition spaces are available and a tour of NIACE will be available on the day to the first 20 people expressing an interest. The programme and registration details are available via the Composites UK website: www.compositesuk.co.uk/ni18
