Composites UK is excited to announce that it will be taking a 63sqm exhibition stand at UK Construction Week from 5 – 7 October 2021 at Birmingham’s NEC.
UK Construction Week is the largest construction event in the UK, bringing together stakeholders within the built environment across every facet of design, build and product innovation.
The Composites UK stand (B560), is located in Hall 4 at the NEC and will house up to six of its member companies. It is being organised at the request of the Composites UK Construction Sector Group, who see a need to promote fibre polymer composites to the wider construction community to further the uptake of the materials.
Claire Whysall, Marketing and Communications Manager at Composites UK, said: “We are really pleased that our members have already shown significant interest in joining us on our stand at UK Construction Week. Although fibre polymer composites have been used in construction applications for years it is a huge area of growth as the materials can be used for anything from refurbishment to stand-alone modular structures and bridges.
“The diversity of the member companies on the stand will really show the broad range of potential applications to those who many not have considered specifying fibre polymer composites before.”
Nathan Garnett, Director, UK Construction Week, added: “We’re delighted to welcome Composites UK to UK Construction Week. This October’s event will be the first major construction exhibition in over 18 months. With confidence returning following the roadmap announcement, visitor enquiries for the event are higher than any previous year, demonstrating the appetite for construction professionals to meet again.”
