Composites UK Urges UK Companies to complete their Hub Profile before Highly Anticipated Launch

In preparation for the launch of the Hub Database at the Composites Engineering Show on the 4th and 5th November (NEC, Birmingham), Trade Association Composites UK is urging UK composites companies to complete their profile on the database by midnight on 16th October to ensure their inclusion from day one.

The Composites Hub is a UK composites capability database, incorporating organisations across the UK supply chain. It will direct business opportunities to individual organisations through an online search facility. The Hub will also be used to build a more accurate status of the UK composites industry, generate industry statistics and inform strategic direction for the industry.

The Hub is free to join for all organisations in the composites supply chain with a base in the UK. Composites UK members receive a highlighted listing at the top of the results for relevant search criteria. The basic data for around 1300 organisations is already in the database, however Composites UK is asking companies to fill out their listing before including them in the search facility.

Companies who complete their profile before midnight on the 16th October will be placed into a prize draw to win a year’s free membership of the Association. The winner of this will be announced at the Awards Dinner, held on the evening of the 4th November at the Hilton Metropole on the NEC complex, Birmingham. The online search facility will go live from 19th October.

For a preview of what the profiles on the Composites Hub will look like and to see the list of organisations whose profiles are already complete, visit www.compositesuk.co.uk/hub. Those wishing to add an entry should contact Mark Humphrey, Data Officer on research@compositesuk.co.uk to be allocated their unique database login.
