Dura Composites, a supplier of composite products for flooring and facades, is proud to announce that it has achieved Gold level status with Constructionline - the UK’s leading procurement and supply chain management service.
Constructionline streamlines and improves the construction process by reducing risk and creating a common platform for buyers to engage with new suppliers. Accreditation is gained through a comprehensive audit assessment, evaluating approaches to health and safety, BIM and quality management to ensure they meet the highest possible standards.
Alongside Constructionline Gold, Dura Composites has also achieved Acclaim accreditation. Part of Supplier Assessment Services, Acclaim Accreditation is the go-to scheme for SSIP health and safety accreditation for over 3,000 organisations and verifies that Dura Composites uses robust systems to adequately manage health and safety.
Ron Gibson, Contracts Manager for Dura Composites’ Construction Sector commented “We are delighted to have achieved Gold membership with Constructionline which gives our customers assurance about the standard of Dura Composites’ products, fabrications, installation services, safety and quality.
Composite materials are playing an increasingly prominent role in construction, due in part to their long lifespan, lightweight nature, durability and fire performance qualities. The experienced Dura Composites team has extensive knowledge and practical experience of GRP and other composites, and can supply and install materials for even the most technically challenging or bespoke projects. The Constructionline Gold status complements our UKAS approved ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System and our Silver in the RoSPA Health and Safety Awards 2019 and we’re delighted to have met the exacting requirements for accreditation.”
As part of Dura Composites’ ongoing commitment to the highest standards for continuous personal development, nine members of staff have also recently completed CITB’s CDM for Principal Designers and Contractors.
