Composites UK is working closely with the Warwick Manufacturing Group (WMG) on the 2019 Automotive Showcase, taking place on 20th June at WMG’s International Digital Laboratory (IDL) in Coventry.
Joining the programme are Ford, Jaguar Land Rover and Aston Martin, alongside the Composites Leadership Forum, GKN Wheels and Structures, Creative Composites, Expert Tooling and Automation, Gestamp, Surface Generation, the University of Nottingham and WMG themselves.
The event will look at the large-volume sector and the specialist, small volume area producing modified or complete vehicles. The challenges of each are different and this is reflected in the way car manufacturers approach the use of composites.
Claire Whysall, Communications Manager at Composites UK said; “We are delighted to be back at WMG for an updated look at the use of fibre-reinforced polymer composites in the automotive industry. This is always a popular event, filling the IDL’s lecture theatre each time, and it’s amazing to see the amount of companies who have signed up for exhibition space which is now strictly limited.”
Delegate registration is now live and open to all with a discounted rate in place for members of Composites UK. Exhibition and sponsorship options are also available.
