Frewer Engineering had an exceptional year in 2019 which saw the company grow in capabilities and scope. In 2020 it plans to develop further its capabilities to suit customer needs.
The company wants to meet its customer's requirements to be able to "one stop shop" for complex Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Fluid Structure Interaction Analysis (FSI) and advanced FEA covering shock and vibration with its advanced 3D CAD design capabilities, giving the company a capability that's hard to find under one roof.
In terms of its work in the composites arena, this year Frewer will be developing closer links with the NPL (National Physical Laboratory) to access composite material strength databases giving it the ability to model structures before they have been tested for strength with greater reliability.
The Frewer Engineering composite team are already involved with the NPL through the Industrial Advisory Composites Group (IAG) allowing them to keep up with state of the art developments in materials and test methods.
