Fewer Engineering has reported that the composites side of its business remains extremely active going into 2017, particularly in areas such as marine and aerospace.
High demand from its customers for high accuracy prediction of woven composite structure materials modelling means the company is now developing techniques to allow it to model all structural properties for finite element analysis of woven materials in epoxy and polyester resins.
The techniques will be used to predict properties and performance for stitched fabrics, woven fabrics, and many others too. Advanced techniques are being developed by the company, using specialist software that is traceable to test data.
