Composites UK is looking forward to exhibiting at UK Construction Week from 5- 7 October 2021 at the NEC, Birmingham.
UK Construction Week is the largest construction event in the UK, bringing together stakeholders within the built environment across every facet of design, build and product innovation. Composites UK, the trade association for the UK composites industry, will take stand B560 in Hall 4 with member companies Design & Display Structures, the National Composites Centre, and Scott Bader.
The stand was arranged at the request of the Composites UK Construction Sector Group, who see a need to promote fibre-reinforced polymer composites to the wider construction community to further the uptake of the materials.
Claire Whysall, Marketing and Communications Manager at Composites UK, said: “We are looking forward to promoting composite materials to the wider construction community alongside three of our member companies who are passionate in this area.”
Design & Display Structures are subcontractors building bespoke composite architectural features and products for the construction, retail, simulation, film and leisure industries, who offer UK wide design, manufacture and installation. The National Composites Centre provide material innovations for construction, and Scott Bader are an employee-owned, global manufacturer of adhesives, resins, gelcoats and functional polymers.
Claire continued, “The diversity of the member companies on the stand will really showcase the broad range of potential applications to those who many not have considered specifying fibre-reinforced polymer composites before.”
