Pultrex has recently commissioned a new pultrusion machine at its facility in Manningtree, Essex. This is the sixth pultrusion machine line at its 24-hour production facility.
The company says that the Pultrex Px1000-12T will be capable of producing profiles up to 1000mm wide and 300mm in height or multiple streams of smaller profiles. The servo driven machine with its advanced control system achieves high levels of quality and accuracy as well as being extremely energy efficient.
Mick Welham, Composites Manufacturing Director at Pultrex believes the company is now well placed to meet future demands and maintain its excellent “on-time” delivery record for quality products.
Pultrex, who returned to pultruded profile manufacturing in 2007 has been rated by Plimsoll as the 10th fastest growing company in the composites industry and been named in 3 categories of “Outstanding Performance”.
Mick continues “we have seen an enormous growth in the pultrusion industry in the last few years – it’s been a very exciting ride. This new machine will allow our continued rapid growth whilst maintaining quality and delivery targets to ensure customer satisfaction.
