Shape Machining has recently commissioned another Faro laser scanning inspection arm as part of the continuous improvement programme.
Managing Director, Peter McCool, said: “It has always been important for us to ensure that the quality of the patterns we machine is exemplary. We achieve that by rigorous quality control procedures. Part of our standard process is to fully 3D scan all the patterns we machine.
This additional Faro arm ensures that our inspection capacity matches with the recent increases in machining capacity.”
The Shape Quality department consists of x2 Faro laser scanning arms, x2 large surface tables and x4 inspector/operators.
McCool added “Our customers demand the best quality machined patterns and that is exactly what we deliver!”
