Sigmatex will be showcasing its sigmaDesign visual carbon at the upcoming Advanced Engineering Show, taking place at the NEC in Birmingham, UK, on the 30th and 31st October.
With 8 standard designs, sigmaDesign is a service offered by Sigmatex, providing custom weave patterns for cosmetic and performance-based applications. This innovative carbon fabric, already adopted by high-end automotive, sports and luxury consumer goods markets, offers brands an opportunity to develop exclusive products, providing a unique look that contrasts already established composite woven products.
Paul McMullan, Global Commercial Manager at Sigmatex, explains; “When it comes to visual CFRP, many customers want more than the standard weave designs. We are able to work with those customers to express their creativity and unleash their imagination, incorporating carbon fabrics that combine form and function, fashioning products that have an identity synonymous to their brand. We want to provide customers with the opportunity to work with this design freedom.”
Alongside sigmaDesign, Sigmatex will present a wide range of its carbon conversion technologies within the Composites Engineering sector of the Advanced Engineering Show, the UK’s largest gathering of manufacturing OEMs and supply chain partners.
Sigmatex will be on stand N42 at the show.
