Technical Fibre Products (TFP) will be unveiling its latest nonwoven developments at JEC Americas and TechTextil in Atlanta from 3-5 May.
The company says that the innovative nonwovens on display at booth 3804 range from TFP’s new Tecnofire mat, which delivers fire protection on demand, to their lightweight Optiveil thermoplastic composite toughening solutions, which it adds is the lightest weight carbon veil in the world.
TFP says its nonwovens offer a wealth of solutions for composites. These include enabling a high quality, resin rich surface finish whilst simultaneously imparting surface functionality such as EMI shielding, corrosion resistance, abrasion resistance, electrical conductivity and static dissipation. Further applications include preventing galvanic corrosion by acting as an electrically isolating layer, providing a lightweight, effective carrier or support for adhesive films, or acting as a resin flow medium to provide enhanced resin transportation in both inter-laminar and surface regions.
Talk to Lynn, David and Peter on booth 3804 at JEC Americas from 3-5 May to find out more about TFP’s innovative materials and discover how TFP can help deliver a solution to your technical challenge.
