Tufcot Declares 2016 a Huge Marketing Success

Tufcot says it has made huge strides in 2016 in many different departments from production improvements to manufacturing, but the huge success story has been in marketing.

To meet the company's vision, which is to become one of the UK's most successful specialist manufacturing and engineering companies, exporting to every corner of the world and earning our reputation for quality, reliability and unrivalled service, the company broke this down into six areas of focus; Specialist Manufacturing, Specialist Engineering, Worldwide Exporters, Quality, Reliability and Service.

Some particular marketing highlights to promote these six areas were:

  • The joining of Sheffield Chamber of Commerce.
  • Development of the company's social media channels.
  • Increased advertising in industry focussed magazines.
  • Entrance and shortlisting of the Made in Sheffield Awards.
  • Participation in Composites UK events and webinars.
  • Improved outfacing marking materials, specifically a new website and brochures in five different languages.
  • Becoming more vocal about company achievements (i.e. the Lloyds approval that was achieved and preferred partner status from Teknikprodukter).
  • Making key contacts with a presence at industry exhibitions including Subcon and Composites Engineering.

The company says that its philosophy is to continue investing in its marketing plan as well as new machinery/equipment going forward into 2017.
