Axillium, the National Composites Centre and MPM (Bradford) sponsored the event. Ben Wilson, Director of MPM commented; “MPM were proud to be a sponsor of a great awards evening. After winning awards for two years and sponsoring in the second year, it is great to see positive news being shared and recognised in a fantastic industry and British manufacturing. The awards are also a great event to meet in a more social environment and catch up with some great contacts. The awards keep improving year on year and we look forward to being involved as much as possible.”
Coinciding with Remembrance Day, the dinner was also an opportunity to hold a collection in aid of Help for Heroes, where attendees generously donated £500 for the charity.
The 2015 dinner will take place on Wednesday 4th November with the venue being finalised. Bookings at the 2014 rate will be offered to those in attendance in this year, followed by members of Composites UK. Registrations to other interested parties will open in early 2015.
