The Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS), through the Aerospace Technology Institute (ATI), and Innovate UK are supporting research and technology projects to deliver world-leading aerospace technologies in the UK supply chain. At the 2018 Farnborough International Airshow, three new aerospace research and technology funding opportunities were announced: Collaborative Research & Development Call (up to £20M), a Joint UK-Sweden EUREKA Call (up to £2.5M) and a further round of the National Aerospace Technology Exploitation Programme (up to £13.7M).
These funding competitions are seeking innovative industry led collaborative proposals from companies for research and development projects within the civil aerospace sector.
The objective of this event is to encourage collaboration between large, medium and small enterprises aiming to work in the aerospace sector that could then form applications for funding under one or more of the opportunities available.
The event will include presentations on the full range of current collaborative aerospace research and technology funding opportunities. Attendees will have an opportunity to network with organisations of all sizes, an opportunity for business-to-business meetings with larger organisations and to meet with ATI, NATEP and Sharing in Growth representatives; there will be open Technology sessions in the main auditorium and the opportunity to showcase proposed R&T projects seeking collaborative partners using one of our free Showcase Stands.
Registration to the event in advance is essential. Places are limited so please book early.
