Imperial College would like to invite you to its Composite Research Showcase on Monday 24th September. At the Showcase the College will be displaying the range of research, facilities and expertise in the Composite Centre to industrial and sponsor organisations.
Over the last thirty-five years the Composites Centre has provided a focus for all the composites expertise across Imperial College, and is internationally recognised as one of the pioneering academic Groups in this field. There are over thirty academics across the College affiliated to the Centre, and their research covers an enormous breadth of topics, ranging from the development of new composite constituents and architectures, manufacturing routes and characterisation techniques to predictive modelling and design for final applications. Further details of Imperial College's research, academics and facilities can be seen at the Composite Centre website.
This is the first time the College has held such an event in the last ten years, and is an opportunity to see the work it does, its facilities and directly engage with the composite academics. On the day there will also be opportunities to schedule short meetings with the academics in the Centre to promote further collaboration.
