Heathcoat Manufactures Advanced fabrics for critical applications. Active around the globe in a range of end uses, our textiles are used for fibre-reinforced polymer composite. Our Warp knitted and Woven textiles can offer Sustainable solutions in various ways. This could be through cellulosic biodegradable options or yarn made from recycled polymer. Often our fine textiles are used as resin carrier and flow mesh or light weight integral solutions. We weave and knit using many polymers as well as Aramid that can be used in specialist applications. One of our new and exciting additions Is textile using PEI. Polyetherimide is a polymer thats key performance attribute is that when exposed to flame does not melt or drip. This is because the polymer carbonises. We have produced PEI in a monofilament, and knitted 3D spacer fabric offering a unique proposition (Patent protected by HFL.)This not only offers light weight 3D solutions for vertical surfaces, but superior FR properties. We also offer textile made from Ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene. The verticality of our manufacturing process means we can offer both Knitted and Woven fabrics. Capabilities.
