ADS: Materials for Advanced Air Mobility
The ADS Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) Special Interest Group, in collaboration with the University of Sheffield AMRC and Composites UK, are hosting their Q2 meeting which will focus on Materials for AAM featuring a full-day seminar with presentations from industry and research organisations on topics such as:
- New material applications
- Composites cost and scaling
- Sustainability and circularity
- Standards
- Batteries and electric motors
- Cabin interiors
Speakers include: Boeing, Carbon ThreeSixty, McLaren, iCOMAT, Graphene @ The University of Manchester, WMG – The University of Warwick, Orson Associates, FAC Technology, Aerospace Technology Institute, GKN Aerospace, The Faraday Institution and SAE, among others.
The Special Interest Group (SIG) session will take place in the afternoon, followed by a tour of the AMRC Factory 2050 facilities, where the AMRC is running their COMPASS (Composites at Speed and Scale) research programme with Boeing.
