The Department for Business and Trade is pleased to launch its Automotive Technology Trade Mission to SIAT 2026 in Pune, India.

In addition to attendance at the show, the visit programme will include targeted site visits, b2b meetings, networking opportunities and more. The department will host a promotional webinar on 19 November at 09:30, where further information on the programme and application process will be announced.

Based upon feedback from stakeholders in the Indian market, we are looking to recruit UK companies with capabilities in the following areas:

  • Hydrogen (Storage, Fuel Cell and ICE)
  • Motor Technology (40kW+ for medium and heavy commercial vehicles)

  • Battery Technology (Especially New Cell Chemistry and Battery Innovation)

  • Automotive Software (Inc Digital Twinning and Cybersecurity)
  • Automotive Consulting/Testing/Vehicle Engineering
