The prestigious Composites UK Industry Awards 2025 took place at the National Motorcycle Museum, Birmingham last night, celebrating the remarkable achievements and innovations driving progress within the UK composites sector.
The annual awards ceremony honoured companies and individuals across a range of categories, recognising their outstanding contributions to advancing composite technology, sustainability, and social responsibility.
The 2025 award winners are:
- Innovation in Composites Manufacture: ART Automated Rapid Tape – Cygnet Texkimp & McLaren Automotive
- Innovation in Composite Materials (sponsored by Zund): HyPStore Project
- Innovation in Composite Design: Composite Braiding Ltd
- Sustainability Award – Net-Zero Initiative: Composite Braiding Ltd
- Sustainability Award – Circularity: Centre of Expertise in Advanced Materials and Sustainability (CEAMS)
- Social Impact Award: CTG, a Safran Group company – Actuation Business Unit
- Prof. Alan Banks Young Engineer of the Year: Guy Lawrence
- Apprentice of the Year (sponsored by Syensqo): Kurtis Russ
- Outstanding Contribution to the Composites Industry: John Davidson with Grace Atkinson and Sam Turner highly commended in this category.
Composites UK extends its heartfelt congratulations to all this year’s winners, whose pioneering work continues to set new standards for excellence, innovation, and leadership across the composites industry.
