Composites UK Launch 2026 Industry Awards

Composites UK has officially opened applications for the 2026 Composites UK Industry Awards, with entries now being accepted ahead of being presented at this year’s Awards Dinner, taking place on 4 November 2026.

Held at the National Motorcycle Museum and coinciding with the first evening of the Advanced Engineering Show, the Composites UK Industry Awards Dinner is the premier celebration of excellence and innovation in the UK composites sector. The event will bring together industry leaders, innovators, and professionals for an evening of recognition, networking, and inspiration.

The Awards showcase outstanding achievements from across the composites industry, recognising everything from groundbreaking technologies and innovative design to sustainability initiatives and individual excellence.

Applications for the 2026 Awards are now open, with entry forms available to download via the Composites UK website. The deadline for submissions is 5:00pm on 19 June 2026.

Award categories for 2026 are:

  • Trainee/Apprentice of the Year
  • Prof. Alan Banks Young Engineer of the Year
  • Employer of the Year
  • Social Impact Award
  • Supplier of the Year
  • Sustainability: Circularity Award
  • Sustainability: Net-Zero
  • Innovation of the Year (Materials, Manufacture and Design)
  • Outstanding Contribution to the Composites Industry

The Awards Dinner will feature a formal ceremony alongside opportunities for attendees to connect with peers and key stakeholders shaping the future of the sector. Guests are encouraged to attend in black tie.

Bookings for the event are now open, with early booking recommended to secure the best rates and table positions. Prices will increase at the end of July 2026, and tables and seats are allocated in order of registrations.

A range of sponsorship opportunities are also available, offering organisations the chance to align with one of the industry’s most prestigious events while gaining valuable visibility and networking opportunities. So far this year’s event is proudly supported by Zünd as headline sponsor of the Awards.
