Composites UK Launches Technology Dissemination Service to Support Composites Innovation

Composites UK has announced the launch of a new Technology Dissemination Service, designed to support organisations delivering innovation in composite materials by increasing the visibility, reach and impact of their research and development activities.

The new service is aimed at companies, research organisations and consortia involved in UKRI and Innovate UK-funded projects, as well as industry-led innovation programmes across the composites value chain. Acting as a sub-contractor, the association provides tailored dissemination and stakeholder engagement support to ensure project outcomes are clearly communicated to industry, policymakers and funding bodies.

The service offers a structured approach to dissemination, helping projects translate complex technical outputs into accessible, industry-relevant communication. This includes strategy development, technical content creation, webinars, case studies, showcase events and targeted promotion through trusted sector channels.

Packages are available on a value-costed tiered basis starting from £2,500, aligned with typical funder dissemination requirements. In addition to defined service tiers, bespoke dissemination packages can be developed to meet the specific needs of individual projects.

Commenting on the launch, Claire Whysall, Marketing and Communications Manager at Composites UK, said: “Effective dissemination is critical to ensuring that innovation in composite materials delivers real-world impact. This service enables projects to engage the right audiences, meet funder expectations, and support wider industry adoption by leveraging our established networks and sector expertise.”

The Technology Dissemination Service builds on the association’s role as a trusted voice within the composites community, with strong links to industry, academia and policymakers. The service is now available to members and their project partners planning or delivering innovation activity.
