Cygnet Texkimp has announced the appointment of Joe Summers as Sales Director.
Summers is an experienced commercial and strategic leader with more than 25 years of expertise in the global composites industry, including senior roles with Gurit and most recently as Managing Director at Airborne.
He brings an extensive technical understanding of composites from design and materials to manufacture and industrialisation, as well as a proven track record of driving positive strategic change within organisations. He is also a board member of Composites UK, the trade association for companies working in the UK’s fibre-reinforced polymer composite supply chain.

Cygnet Texkimp develops technologies to handle and process traditional and technical fibres including composites. The company’s creels, prepreg, coating, slitting, fibre deposition and winding technologies are used by industries including aerospace, automotive, wind energy and geotextiles to process high-performance materials and parts.
