Global composites manufacturer and supplier, Dura Composites, has announced The Invicta Group as its newest distribution partner for its Glass Reinforced Polymer (GRP) walkway range within the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Saudi Arabia. The new partnership is the latest step towards bolstering the company’s distribution network and facilitating global customers to unlock the power of composites for their projects.
The arrangement will focus particularly on the company’s d2 GRP product range which delivers the best performance-to-weight ratio, best anti-slip durability and best fire-ratings in the industry, for maximum safety and efficiency.
One of the flagship products in the range, d2 Dura Grating for example achieves a Class B fire rating in accordance with the BS EN 13501-1 standard, making it suitable for a range of project installations where fire safety is an important consideration. In achieving a Euroclass rating of Bfl-s1, d2 Dura Grating offers the market the choice of enhanced fire safety built right into the composition of the product.
The Invicta Group is a specialist contractor with a unique ability to deliver turnkey designs. The company has operations and projects around the globe, including the provision of passive fire and blast protection systems for prestigious projects such as the Kuala Lumpur MRT, Dubai Metro and Riyadh Metro.
The distributorship with Dura Composites enables The Invicta Group to enhance its offering to the rail, industrial, energy and transportation sectors with the provision of safer, stronger, faster and proven GRP floor grating, trench covers, platforms, structural stair treads and handrailing.
Jonathan Howard, Head of Growth at Dura Composites, shared his thoughts on the new partnership: “Despite the various global challenges over the past couple of years, we have continued to see growth in the Middle East and have been keen to find the right distributor partner who recognises the superior and unique qualities of our d2 product range and can help us deliver on our ambitions for the region.
“The Invicta Group has a strong reputation for quality and efficiency, and has spent over 35 years working on some of the biggest global infrastructure projects, so we’re confident that together we can provide a comprehensive service and set of solutions that offer a longer lifespan, improved durability and increased fire performance qualities.”
James Beale, Operations Manager at The Invicta Group said: “We’re delighted to be partnering with Dura Composites to provide a range of award-winning and patented GRP construction and infrastructure products that can’t be found anywhere else. With materials shortages and metal price increases hitting businesses across the globe, we’re pleased to be able to offer a readily available and more cost-effective set of composite solutions that we feel will enable our clients to realise their most critical projects on time and on budget.
