9th December, CNC Robotics, Liverpool

CNC Robotics is hosting a one-day workshop on robotic additive manufacturing, following the successful delivery of a pilot event for North West manufacturers last month. The session is now open to SME manufacturers from across the UK.

Robotic 3D printing is increasingly being adopted as an alternative to traditional composite tooling and modelmaking processes. The workshop will introduce three large-format additive manufacturing technologies (metal wire-laser deposition, thermoplastic pellet extrusion, and PU tooling paste printing) and demonstrate how each can support high-value, low-volume applications in sectors such as composites, construction, modelmaking and specialist manufacturing.

Delegates will gain an understanding of how additive manufacturing can reduce lead times, minimise waste and streamline production by moving directly from digital design to near-net-shape printed tools and parts. The workshop will include short technical presentations and live demonstrations, with opportunities to discuss integration pathways and practical considerations for adoption.

Free to attend for SME manufacturers; limited spaces.
