Monday 16th December 2024, Global Technology Centre, GKN Aerospace, Bristol
Decarbonising Aerospace is a focused event exploring innovative solutions to reduce carbon emissions in the aerospace sector through advanced composite materials.
As the industry faces mounting pressure to achieve net-zero goals, composite materials present a promising avenue due to their lightweight properties and structural efficiency, which can significantly lower fuel consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.
This event will gather industry experts, engineers, and researchers to discuss current advancements, practical challenges, and future prospects for composite materials in aerospace applications, including sustainable production, recycling, and integration into existing manufacturing processes.
Attendees will gain insight into breakthrough technologies and explore their impact on sustainability and operational efficiency in aerospace. The event aims to inspire collaboration and innovation, paving the way for greener, more efficient flight technologies that align with global environmental targets.
