7th November 2024, Aston University (Co-organised with the British Plastics Federation)

Composites UK and the British Plastics Federation are once more collaborating to hold their annual event focussed on thermoplastic composites, which this year will celebrate the contribution of thermoplastic composites to the ongoing journey to net zero and greater circularity.

All major global economies have now set clear net zero targets which will require major steps to be made in the coming years in the decarbonisation of all major industries and supply chains, and in the establishment of much greater circularity and material recovery/recycling and reuse.

Composite materials are a key enabler of decarbonisation through their lightweight strength, excellent durability and long service lifetimes, and thermoplastic composites will undoubtedly play a leading role in decarbonising selected markets through their unique blend of properties and performance characteristics.

Programme

The call for speakers is now closed and we are reviewing abstracts. All potential speakers will be contacted either way before the end of July.
