Our research focusses on the critically important materials required to deliver world leading sustainable infrastructure. This includes all the major categories of materials and we have ongoing research investigating polymers, fibre composites, metals, cement and concrete, glass and ceramics, and biomaterials. Our research is addressing major global issues concerned with sustainability, the low-carbon economy, whole life cycle issues, materials circularity and long term durability and performance. We aim to complete highly innovative research and collaborate widely with academic and industrial stakeholders.
