Based in the UK, we are the first zero to landfill facility for the recycling and complete disposal of end of life boats.

We can take care of everything; from the boat’s recovery, to dismantling and recycling of its parts, even down to the usually non-recyclable parts which are shredded and sent for energy recovery. Nothing goes to landfill, nothing is wasted!

When dismantling boats & yachts which have come to the end of their life, any parts of the boat which could be reused in other vessels are placed on our online shop.

Once the vessel is fully dismantled, with all parts recovered or recycled, we are then left with the fibreglass shell this is shredded and sent for disposal via Energy Recovery, diverted wholly from Landfill

Marine & Industrial Mouldings Ltd was incorporated in 1999. We are a family run business with a passion for design and composite manufacture. Our journey in the GRP manufacturing industry started out in boat repairs, with our business being located on an oldboatyard. At the time, this was just one aspect of the work we did in running the boatyard which was then fully operational. In the early days we also did a lot of work for Blackpool Pleasure Beach, repairing the GRP on some of their rides and attractions. After a couple of years we were approached by a Coach builder, asking us to make a sleeper pod for their horse box builds.Over the next couple of years we transitioned our business into doing more and more work for the Horse box, Race home and motorhome builders. As well as manufacturing a wide range of fibreglass trailer bodies. After developing a couple of our own kits for the various different vehicles, we began to delve more deeply into the design side of the kits. We now design & manufacture kits for many of the top trade Horsebox & Coachbuilders across the UK. Our team, facility and design/production capability has grown vastly since we started out in this industry and we are now known for our unmatched designs and consistent product quality. Due to our highly skilled team of GRP laminators and investment into GRP manufacturing machinery such as gel coat guns/chopper guns, our products are consistently held to the highest of quality. The use of different GRP manufacturing methods also speeds up manufacturing times whilst ensuring a consistent laminate quality from product to product We are very passionate about the work we do and continually strive to offer the best quality and most uniquely designed products to our loyal customer base. Although our main work centres around the leisure automotive market, our production capabilities spread across any industry requiring Fibreglass components.
