Blue Leaf Composites is an independent engineering consultancy specialising in the design and manufacturing process of advanced composite structures. Our work spans wind energy, marine, and industrial applications, with a focus on delivering practical, high-performance solutions that meet demanding technical and commercial requirements.
We operate with a small, agile team of talented engineers combining hands-on experience with digital tools to support design, prototyping, and production. Our approach is collaborative and detail-driven, whether we’re refining designs, adapting supplier processes, or supporting quality issues, or continuous improvement activities.
As we expand our design and development capabilities, we’re looking for engineers who are comfortable working across disciplines, engaging directly with suppliers and clients, and contributing to real-world outcomes. If you value clarity, precision, and the opportunity to work on technically challenging projects, Blue Leaf offers a focused and supportive environment to do just that.
Role Description: Junior Engineer
Blue Leaf Composites is hiring a Junior Engineer to support a range of composite design, material system and manufacturing process improvement projects. These include the design of composite structures including wind blades and the development of digital toolsets to support manufacturing and quality management processes.
Working within a small, experienced team, you’ll contribute to structural analysis, and design-for-manufacture activities across multiple project phases. You’ll also support documentation for client presentations, supplier onboarding, and internal reviews—helping translate technical requirements into practical, buildable solutions.
