The UK Composites Strategy

strategy imageThe UK Composites Strategy is an ongoing collaboration between Government (the Department for Business Innovation and Skills, or BEIS) and the composites industry to ensure that funding and support is available in the right way to grown the UK in this area.

The document aims to reduce the market barriers for the composites industry, including addressing the skills gap and investing in sustainability and recycling.

Input to BEIS Materials Consultation 2022

The Composites Leadership Forum (CLF), working with organisations across the composite materials supply chain, developed a combined industry response to the recent BEIS call for evidence on advanced materials. The main points provided in the response can be read here

**New Report** Meeting the Greatest Challenge: How the UK Composites Sector will deliver Net Zero

The UK cannot meet its net zero targets without composites. They are both a strategic asset and key differentiator for the UK and will underpin government strategies around Energy, Hydrogen, Innovation, Industrial and Transport Decarbonisation, Exports and Net Zero.
