Fluency has revealed its first set of topic sessions for SpaceAM, the number one UK event for the discussion of advanced materials in the space industry.
In partnership with the Science and Technology Facilities Council, the premier conference will be held at the Harwell Science and Innovation Campus in Oxfordshire, UK on the 12-13 July 2022.
Attendees arriving on day 1 can expect an enthralling keynote introduction from CEO & Co-Founder of Space DOTS®, Bianca Cefalo; presenting her session on ‘Challenging the Status Quo of In-Space Testing for Advanced Materials and Nanotech’. Throughout the day, speakers such as Robert Scudamore, Associate Director & Group Manager of TWI, and Rebekka Jurtz, Sales & Project Manager of GEFERTEC, will explore the advancements made in additive manufacturing including ‘Laser Direct Energy Deposition of Rocket Nozzles’ and ‘Integration of Qualified WAAM Parts in the Industrial Supply Chain’.
On day 2, SpaceAM will blast off with In-Space Technology sessions. Martina Meisnar, Materials & Process Evaluations Engineer for the European Space Agency (ESA) will be discussing its initiative for advanced manufacturing technologies for space, while Managing Director of Light Steering Technologies, Roger Waldock, is set to discuss, ‘Advances in Beam Steering for Space Applications’.
These sessions will be accompanied by many more exciting topics and subjects that are coming to SpaceAM from around the world this July.
