Composites UK is set to host RECOMP: An Update on Composites Circularity Developments in the UK, a one-day event dedicated to communicating and accelerating progress in the circularity of composite materials across the UK and beyond.
Taking place on 26th November 2025 at AMRC’s Knowledge Transfer Centre (KTC), Rotherham, RECOMP (Reuse and Recycling of Composites) will bring together leading organisations, researchers, and innovators from across the composites value chain. The event will spotlight real-world solutions, recent commercialisation progress, and new technologies now driving the shift towards a more circular composites industry.
This comprehensive update will include insights from industry leaders such as SUEZ Recycling and Recovery UK, European Composites Industry Association (EuCIA) / European Circular Composites Alliance (ECCA), Agecko, Marine & Boat Recycling, Cygnet Texkimp, BM Longworth, Gen2Carbon, PRF Composites, Lineat, and the AMRC. Attendees will also benefit from a panel discussion featuring OEMs across aerospace, automotive, construction, marine, and wind energy sectors, addressing the opportunities and challenges of integrating recycled materials into new composite products.
“We’re starting to see a real step change in how the UK composites industry approaches circularity,” said Malcolm Forsyth, Sustainability Manager at Composites UK. “RECOMP provides a vital platform to share progress, showcase innovation, and connect the dots between research and development of recycling technology, and industrial adoption. Collaboration across the supply chain and stimulating end-user demand remain key to unlocking a truly circular future for composites.”
The day will feature keynotes, technical updates, exhibitor pitches, and open forum discussions, offering delegates a comprehensive, up-to-date picture of the UK’s composites recycling landscape, from end-of-life management to high-value material recovery.
Following the formal sessions, delegates will have the option to join guided tours of the AMRC’s cutting-edge research and development facilities, providing a first-hand look at innovation in action.
Delegate registration is now open with limited table-top exhibition and sponsorship opportunities available for organisations wishing to showcase their sustainability solutions.
