CCK Aerospace recently attended JEC World, the leading international event for composite materials and advanced manufacturing technologies.
Held annually in Paris, the exhibition brings together engineers, OEMs, Tier suppliers, material manufacturers and technology specialists from across the global composites industry. For the CCK Aerospace team, the event provided an opportunity to connect with organisations working across aerospace, defence, motorsport and other high-performance engineering sectors.
The exhibition also followed the launch of CCK Aerospace, a specialist division of Cristex Cutting & Kitting (CCK) focused on the precision cutting and kitting of advanced composite materials.
Designed to support manufacturers operating in regulated and high-performance environments, the service focuses on controlled material preparation where traceability, handling standards and repeatability are essential. CCK Aerospace provides prepreg cutting and kitting services within a controlled environment, helping manufacturers streamline production workflows and reduce material preparation time within composite manufacturing processes.
During the event, the team met with engineers, procurement specialists and manufacturing leaders exploring ways to improve efficiency and consistency in composite production. Many discussions centred on effective prepreg handling, the benefits of pre-kitted material supply, and how controlled cutting processes can help reduce production risk.
Karl, Business Manager at CCK Aerospace, commented:
“Events like JEC World are a great opportunity for us to engage directly with engineers and manufacturers working with advanced composite materials. Many conversations focused on improving manufacturing efficiency while ensuring materials are handled and prepared correctly before entering the production process. That’s exactly where specialist cutting and kitting services can add real value.”
Following JEC World, CCK Aerospace will continue developing technical content and engagement activity focused on composite material processing, prepreg cutting and kitting, supporting manufacturers as demand for high-performance composite structures continues to grow.
