The Seawork Awards celebrate outstanding innovations from the companies and individuals that
comprise this vibrant and productive commercial marine industry.
The Young Person’s Development Award offers young people, from 16 – 25 years of age, who are
currently studying for, or beginning, a career in the maritime industry, an opportunity to achieve
industry recognition and a bursary to help further their career.
Why enter the awards:

- Create new opportunities for collaboration and growth.
- Receive a Bursary of £850 to go towards further training.
How to Enter:
- Students will need to fill out the entry form
- Provide a short, informal video (between 1-2 mins) to show your passion for the industry, and why you should win the bursary and send to awards@seawork.com
- Provide a few words to explain what you’d spend the bursary on and how it would help your career.
Entries and nominations close 1st May 2026
*Students who are nominated are also required to complete the entry steps.
