Distributor strengthens composite materials portfolio in the Norwegian market
Biesterfeld, one of the internationally leading distribution and service companies in the field of polymers, rubber, specialty chemicals and ingredients, is expanding its cooperation with SAERTEX to Norway with immediate effect. The partnership further strengthens Biesterfeld’s composites portfolio in the Nordic region and creates new opportunities for customers in industries such as defence, marine and offshore, aquaculture, infrastructure and sports & leisure.
SAERTEX is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of multiaxial non-crimp fabrics (NCF) and composite reinforcement solutions. The portfolio available through Biesterfeld in Norway includes glass, carbon and natural fibre reinforcement materials as well as complementary process and core material solutions. Available products range from glass and carbon NCFs of the SAERTEX Basic Line to SAERfix®, SAERflow®, SAERcore®, SAERfoam® and bio-based flax NCF solutions. These materials support the development of lightweight, high-performance and increasingly sustainable composite structures across a wide range of applications.
The expanded portfolio enables customers to source a broad range of reinforcement, core and process-supporting materials via a single point of contact. The cooperation between the two companies builds on a long-standing and successful relationship. Biesterfeld has represented SAERTEX in Poland since 2006 and expanded the partnership to Germany in 2024.
