Techlan has announced that in the financial year ending Sept 2021 it had achieved a staggering 77% growth.
This growth, it says, is down to fantastic teamwork and has been achieved through one of the most difficult periods of trading the world has ever seen.
The company says it does not intend to stop there. Techlan has invested in an additional Re-Liner manufacturing line together with additional conversion equipment. It has also moved into a greatly expanded manufacturing facility having recently taken occupation of a 25,000 square foot premises, which will allow us to grow and expand even further.
Techlan’s growth has been achieved in both of its main operating divisions.
Sales of Re-Liner, its 100% recycled release liner, have grown significantly. There has been an unprecedented shift in the demand from organisations looking to source a much more sustainable alternative release liner, that can reduce their carbon footprint.Re-Liner creates a measurable carbon saving of 670kgs per tonne, which can significantly reduce the CO2 levels within a supply chain.
Techlan has also seen considerable growth from its Circular Division.
Techlan supplies Re-Liner to companies which use it in their manufacturing processes. The waste rolls of release liner, which were previously sent to landfilled, are collected and then returned to Techlan’s site for cleaning and converting before being supplied back to the same manufacturer once again.
The circular system enables companies to re-use the same release liner up to eleven times!
The circular systems create not only huge measurable carbon savings, but also ensure greater stability within the supply chain. The manufacturer is no longer dependant on external influences disrupting supply as they become a supplier to themselves.
This is particularly attractive during the current market situation where prime grade liner manufacturers are quoting up to 11-month lead times for new liner.
