Composites UK is delighted to announce that Tom Hitchings is joining the team as Membership Manager from 31st October.
Tom has a lengthy track record of helping companies with their business development, providing consistent and effective solutions that have allowed companies to grow on all levels having worked previously for Tods Aerospace, the National Composites Centre, Toray Advanced Composites and Bright Lite Structures.
Sue Halliwell, Operations Manager at Composites UK said: “We are excited to have Tom joining the Composites UK team having known him for many years through him being a point of contact at some of our member companies. His skills in business development and knowledge of the composite industry are a perfect combination for him to be able to highlight the benefits of membership to companies looking to join Composites UK, and also guide current members through the most relevant benefits to them.”
Tom will be the main point of contact for all member companies looking to gain benefit from being part of the Association. He will manage the new member induction programme, head up existing member engagement, develop member engagement plans and handle member business development opportunities received through the helpdesk.
Tom said: “The Composites UK team has done a terrific job establishing the Association as the leading voice for composites in the UK. I’m looking forward to working with existing and potential members to help them maximise their benefit from membership of this great focussed trade body.”
Tom and the rest of the Composites UK team will be attending the Advanced Engineering Show this week at Birmingham NEC on stand W140.
