Composites UK is delighted to announce a meet-the-buyer event on 11th May with Leonardo Helicopters.
Leonardo Helicopters is a global leader in the research, design, development, production and customer support of rotary aircraft for commercial, public service, and security and defence applications. The company recently celebrated 75 years in business.
The event, which takes place at Leonardo’s Yeovil site, in the iAero facility, will run from 10am – 3pm followed by a tour and will give up to 80 attendees the opportunity to potentially become part of this prestigious company’s supply chain.
On the day, Leonardo representatives will talk about their innovation processes on printing, layering and filaments, plus the challenges the company faces when seeking new suppliers. Presentations on Leonardo’s future developments, and a project the company is currently working on with the National Composites Centre, will also be presented.
There will be a chance to ask the Leonardo team questions, then following lunch participate in a ‘speed networking’ session where each attendee will have the chance to pitch their company to a Leonardo representative.
Attendees can further enhance their presence at this event by becoming an exhibitor, taking a table-top display and presenting a short pitch to all of the companies in the room. To ensure the spaces are allocated to the most appropriate companies, Composites UK is asking those interested in exhibiting to email a short company overview to events@compositesuk.co.uk which will be reviewed by the Composites UK and Leonardo team who will make the final selection.

“This event is the perfect occasion for our members and suppliers in the composite industry to showcase their products to the team at Leonardo and put themselves forward for potential future business. I would encourage anyone to take part and grab this exciting opportunity.”
