This focused event will explore the critical role of advanced composite materials in reducing carbon emissions and advancing sustainability in aerospace.

A highlight of the event is a guided tour of GKN Aerospace’s state-of-the-art Global Technology Centre (GTC) in Filton, Bristol. This 10,000 m² collaborative R&D hub is a joint £32 million investment by GKN Aerospace and the UK Government through the Aerospace Technology Institute. The GTC fosters innovation, bringing together universities, research organizations, government bodies, and industrial partners, with tailored support for start-ups and SMEs.
