EXPO-NET® Danmark A/S (Stand W170) is returning to the NEC for Advanced Engineering 2026 to promote its range of 100% recyclable extruded thermoplastic resin flow mesh products. The extensive range of flow meshes available has been specially developed to ensure the consistent vacuum infusion of medium to large composite parts; both standard and custom-made flow meshes are available as needed.
The company has an established reputation as an innovative, highly technical, problem-solving producer of resin flow mesh products which improve infusion productivity and enable the reliable production of high quality, complex shaped composite parts and structural components. EXPO-NET has been supplying leading wind turbine producers for more than 25 years, as well as composites customers in the automotive, aerospace, marine and construction industries.
The different type of resin flow mesh products developed by EXPO-NET are proven as essential vacuum infusion processing aids for many OEMs. EXPO-NET’s problem-solving partnership approach with the R & D teams of strategic customers is a key part of the new product development (NPD) project support provided, such as for a new carbon fibre wind turbine rotor blade or new fibreglass luxury yacht deck or hull; during the NPD process for a large infused part, up to four different resin flow mesh grades can be tested and customised for specific areas within the mould to increase productivity and to avoid premature resin hardening and any air voids, essential for ‘right first time’ production.
Vacuum infusion resin flow mesh technical processing guide
As part of the technical processing support provided, a comprehensive ‘Vacuum Infusion Resin Flow Mesh Technical Processing Guide’ covering the range of resin flow meshes EXPO-NET offers has been produced. The processing guide provides comparative data on the different types of flow mesh grades available – Quick, Medium or Slow. The guide was developed by EXPO-NET to provide customers with a clear understanding of the rheological impact of specific flow mesh grade types to help select the best meshes for specific resin grades, laminate designs and dimensional complexity of the FRP part being infused. The data enables customers to select the right combination of mesh products in different areas of a mould to optimize vacuum infusion resin flow control, to improve process predictability and ensure reproduceable moulded part quality.
New improved drapability ‘flexible’ resin flow mesh grade
A recent new product development from EXPO-NET is the addition to the range of two, 100% recyclable, flexible resin flow meshes with rubbery properties:
• Quick Flow 156/160M, a blue drapable flow mesh, ~1.5mm thick, for rapid vacuum infusion of larger parts.
• Medium Flow 101, a thinner white mesh, only ~1.1mm thick, with even higher drapability, ideal for moulding smaller, more complex, shaped curved parts.
EXPO-NET has ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 certifications for its main Danish production site and operations. The business is committed to an ongoing programme to improve sustainability and net zero.
