The next edition of Startup Booster will take place during JEC World 2026 on March 10-12, 2026 in Parc des expositions Paris Nord Villepinte.
The JEC Composites Startup Booster is the leading startup competition in the world of Composites and Advanced Materials.
Launched in 2017, Startup Booster has been organized in three different regions (Europe, USA, and Asia) and has already fostered the emergence of 1,300+ innovative projects from 60+ countries, 158 finalists, and 34 winners, including FibreCoat, Arevo, Continuous Composites, CompPair, Fortify, and Vartega…
The competition is opened to entrepreneurs, startups and academic spinoffs building innovative projects in the field of Composites & Advanced Materials.
Startup Booster competition is looking for startups in the following fields of innovation:
- Raw Materials (fibers, resins, additives, fillers, coatings, etc.)
- Semi-finished materials (prepreg, textiles, UD Tape, etc)
- Manufacturing Process or Equipment
- Digital (material informatics, software, data, AI)
- Circularity & Recycling Solutions
20 Startups will be selected to participate in JEC WORLD 2026 on March 10 to 12 to pitch in front of a jury composed of industry experts and materials investors: To be announce (September)
The 20 finalists will benefit from:
- A Pitching and investors during JEC World
- Registrations to JEC World
- A space within the Startup Village of JEC World (with the possibility to showcase your innovation)
- Online Visibility (website, press release, emailing, and social media)
- A personal coaching for the pitch before the show• Direct access to the jury members and partners of Startup Booster
- Your pitch session will be broadcasted on JEC Composites Web TV
- Access to JEC Investor Day (One-to-one meetings with investors)
Out of the 20 finalists, 3 winners will be selected by the jury:
- 1 Grand Winner
- 1 Runner-up
- 1 winner “Sustainability”
There will be 3 winners who will receive a package including:
- A financial prize (5,000€ for the Grand Winner, 2,500€ for the Runner-up, 2,500€ for the Sustainability Award)
- A fully equiped booth at the JEC World 2027
- A trophy manufactured in Composite Materials
- A media package (advertising & interview on JEC Channel)
Timeline :
- June 2025: Opening of the call for entries
- October 20th, 2025: Closing of the call for entries.
- January 12th: Announcement of the 20 finalists
- March 10th,2026: Finalists’ Pitching Sessions in front of a jury of experts & investors.
- March 11th, 2026: Startup Booster Awards Ceremony: Announcement of the winner
